Benefit Dinner and Concert

On April 17, 2008, WYDA held a fundraising dinner and concert at Club Metronome, in Burlington, VT.  Over 40 people dined on traditional cuisine of Southern Sudan prepared and served by students in the Food and Beverage Management class at Johnson State College.  Following the dinner, the reggae band, Spiritual Rez, thrilled a crowd of college students from area universities and colleges.  The benefit raised over $1,000 for WYDA projects in the New Sudan.  Thanks to all those who participated in this great event and to those who contributed generously to WYDA, and to the Burlington Free Press for covering the event.
