WYDA web acts as a meeting room for all Deer’s (Deer means the people who living in Werkok.) youth around the world. It is not in any way affiliated with political discussions. In other words, WYDA web welcomes all Deer’s friends to join the conversation.  We as Deer village are proud and honored to welcome you all to share both your views and supports. We also invite donations to help bring clean water to Werkok and other villages in New Sudan.

Werkok was derived from the name of a generous man name Kok Chol, who once upon a time sympathized with his village of Deer/Werkok. He offered a bull cow in exchange for the digging of pool to collect rainwater for the community. The community named the pool after him as a sign of honor and appreciation. Wer Means the River in Dinka. The two words made up the village to be called Werkok.
